The value of moving slowly is that one can always clearly see the
way ahead.

Imagine this: You have a pen
You can use a pen to write rubbish. You can use a pen to write a recollection of your day. Once the ink dried to form words, that is no longer just a pen. A pen can be so powerful, so profound, and yet people think of a pen as just a "writing tool".
You can use a pen to write your goal. Once you have written down your goal, you turn an intangible dream into a intangible item. It is no longer just a pen; it changes your life. A pen can be so powerful, so profound, and yet people think of a pen as just a "writing tool".
If you use an item the creative way, even a harmless soft toy can be a killing machine.

Imagine this: You have no directions in life
When you don't steer the directions of your life, the wind will bring you to wherever the wind wants you to go. Somewhere out there, someone is controlling the movement of the wind. If you don't take lead of your life, you will follow the lead of someone who takes the lead of his life. That someone is a leader.
If the leader wants to kill a person, you'll follow his lead. If the leader wants to kill ten person, you'll follow his lead.
If the leader wants to kill you, you'll still follow his lead.
Because you're just a loser with no directions.

Keep focused on what is important when completing any task.
Keeping your mind on the task at hand will bring wonderful rewards in the long run. Come to think of it, it will probably bring rewards in the short run as well.
By keeping a focus point in mind, difficult tasks become more possible. An entire project may become more comprehensible, or a plan realizable. Keep a focus point in everything you do.

Know yourself
When you are comfortable with whatever you are doing, you will probably do it well.
Stick with what you do best and your results will be as good as they can be

Success
Your path to success is clear after you remove obstacles that are in your way.
When a clear path is necessary to achieve success, the astute individual will clear the path by any means necessary.
The pressure is on high when you are expected to succeed. This is the hardest road to travel, but also the most rewarding -- when you keep the pressure under control.
Success is never guaranteed. But always striving for success greatly increases your chances.

Planning
Very little can be accomplished without an overall plan and numerous related steps to accomplish the goal. A project backed up with a second-rate plan is bound to produce better results than a project with no plan at all, since very little can be accomplished without an overall plan.
Determine what is actually going on before coming up with a plan of any kind. Tailor your plan according to the specific needs of the situation.
Completing a huge task becomes possible when it is broken up into many connected little tasks.

Regardless of the end result, anything you do can be a learning experience in life. It's a matter of being in the right frame of mind. If you want to learn anything at all or to improve any aspect of your life, simply pay attention to what you do and analyze it afterwards. Then go out and do it again, only better.

Weaknesses
If you don't want your weaknesses exploited, eliminate them.
Weaknesses can be accepted as long as there is compensating strength. The trick is in knowing how much strength is necessary to offset any existing weakness.

Destination
It's not so much where you are going as it is how you will get there. The various routes have to be carefully chosen, and those who pay attention to what goes into each alternate route will get the most out of whatever trip they are taking.
Analyze the consequences of taking alternate paths before making any decision.

You cannot know all what there is to know about life.
A philosopher trying to understand the meaning of life was walking along a beach.
He came across his four year-old son, who was scooping up water from the ocean and pouring it into a sand cup he had constructed.
The philosopher was amused and asked his son what he was doing.
"I'm trying to put the ocean in my cup."
"But you can't succeed," his father objected. "The ocean is much too big for your little sand cup."
And the boy replied "Well, the meaning of life is much too big for your brain, yet you don't stop trying to figure it out."

Excuses
Finding excuses for not performing at your best is easy to do. But it can also retard possible later improvement by taking your attention away from the real problems.
Excuses may salvage your pride for a while, but they will not help you to do better in the future. That's why they can be counterproductive. It's better to look for actual reasons for failure rather than make excuses.

Practice
Practice only becomes worthwhile when it is accompanied by a critical analysis of each and every performance.
Practice may not lead to perfection, but it will lead to better results.
When you are constantly and continually working at something, you are bound to pick up skills you may not even realize you are acquiring.

Opportunity
Expect opportunities to come up. Look for them, work for them, and whenever they arise, be prepared to take advantage of them.
Pounce when the time is ripe. It is likely that you will not get another chance anytime soon.

Goal
Always keep your end goal in sight, no matter how complicated things may get in the meantime.
Forge ahead when you have a clearly definable goal in sight.
Do whatever it takes to get your goals accomplished. If it involves a cost that's not overwhelming, pay it. Your goal is important, after all.

Cooperation
A good team is made up of individuals with different strengths -- sometimes very different strengths. By using the best facets each team member has to offer, the team grows in strength, and the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts.
